Lesson 4: Photoshop

     This fourth quarter in ICT I learned something new, the photoshop. It is an altering application that can edit any photos you want.

     What I learned is the tools and the parts and even editing . The tool are move tool, Marquee tool, brush tool, magic wand and etc. The use of the move tool is to select and move images or object. Marquee tool is used in making selection on the images and brush tool is used for drawing freehand.
The parts of Photoshop are the menu bar, options bar, tool box , drawing canvas and palettes. Menu bar contains file, edit, image, layer, select, filter, view window and help. The option bar controls contextualized options for different tools present. Tool box is the main component in Photoshop, here you can see all the tools used in editing. Drawing canvas is where you edit. Lastly the palettes eash panes carry options for working with your file.

     Photoshop is interesting lesson in this quarter. I learned how to edit and draw because of this my creative skills have sharpened.

My dream is to become an engineer

    Every person have a dream to hold and to achieve in life and that's why they keep on believing to reach their future, just like in Cinderella " if you keep on believing the dream that you wish will come true". You don't have a future when you don't have a dream and that is true.

    My dream in life is to be an Engineer someday so that I will build my house in the future. When I was a kid I only use the word Engineer because I have no choice and I don't know what I'm gonna take, then as the time goes by I grow to like the course already. When I observed my father and my brother I said to myself, I want to be like them then I realized that I have made a dream and I'm gonna make it true.

    Dreams are great because it shows you what will you be in the future and put this in mind make that happen and never give up on it. If you don't have any just wait because dreams take s Time to come in your life.

Annual Celebration of our School

     Every year in our school we always celebrate the event called High School Day. This event showcases the grade 7 to grade 12 students of Ilocos Sur National High School and the anniversary of the school.

     The event is well known in the whole Vigan City. The students face an everyday practice to prepare for the program. They contest for the dance, and there is also the teachers who present a dance too. The 117th High School Day is great, the execution of the dances and the presentation are well and good . The winners of the dance contest is the grade 8 students, in the category of girls and boys. Their dance are great and colorful . So that's why the anniversary of the school is well known and famous.

     The high school day celebration is the most important part of being the student of ISNHS. It is a great experience to be part of it and to participate on the event of the school.

Ilocos Sur festival

    Kannawidan festival is one of the famous festival here in vigan. It's English word of kannawidan is tradition. Ilocos Sur is a beautiful place you can see so many culture here. And kannawidan is where you can see them all. All in this festival.

     Here in kannawidan you can see various products and delicacies. They dance too and its beautiful, you can see how they are made. Food is everywhere!! Taste everything there like batac empanada, shake chicken skin and many more. They show case all their traditions and their life also. So come now in kannawidan.

     Their goal is to show other people , most of all the children the beauty of tradition and to make them happy for it. They want the future generations to see it and live their life and inspire others with the culture.

Change is powerful

     Change is a powerful word that needs to be done. But it cannot be done if we don't do in ourselves first.

     In doing change we must do in our life because, always put yourself at first so that we can influence others. So that they will change too, once they change everyone, we can change the world. We can make a better future for this. Not only for us but for the sake of the future generations. We can do anything with it, we change the rules, the mistakes that have been ignored everything you want will be change by it.

     Change is important by everyone change of one person is very good because that one will be the key to a better life. So do a change not by them but you.

   

Brand new me

     Every year we all have a new year's resolution. This is a belief we all believe in. It is an act to make all your mistakes and your bad side into a great thing so you will not do it again in the next year.

     This year i have a crazy resolution but bi think i cannot keep it because not everyone can do that, well we all have our reasons. Not every time that belief or our plan do not last forever. but its in our tradition to a new year resolution . S
o we cannot leave it alone.

     we always love ourselves so we do the NY resolution once a year. in order to correct our lives in the year. wishing we cant do any mistakes anymore and BE NEW ON THE NEW YEAR.

3rd quarter reflection

     In this 3rd quarter TLE I learned how to create a web page by using HTML tags and HTML editors. HTML tags, tags are the basic coding unit in the HTML system. HTML editors are notepad and simple text.


     In creating a web page you to know your tags and how to use them, in that way you can easily create one. You can design it too like you can change the background, and some photos to it and of course some text. Well we created a web page about a research on a place. It took some time to create it but it was fun. When you open it if its gonna look good you will your page and its kinda great. Its good to know how to create one because someday you may need it. You have to be patient because this is a trial and error so it takes a lot of time but its ok.

    Learning something new everyday is great, its important too maybe someday it may be useful in the future.

We are all born equal

  We all have our own rights, we are all born equal but some do not. Because people treat them differently so that's why some don't have any job, they do not progress at all. They try to make them understand but other people don't even listen to them. They have right and give them opportunity so treat them the same.

   Equal rights is what we need right now. Some of us need this and some of us know but never did it to others. So we must have equal rights. Equal opportunities give them a chance to do something they're capable of, do not judge them because they are like that. We must know the word equality, so that the world is peaceful.

   Treat everyone equal, respect their rightsand give them opportunities. We are all the same, so don't be like that, we are all equal.

Essence of Christmas

   Christmas is the most awaited and most celebrated occasion in every year. Christmas is the day that our Lord Jesus was born in Bethlehem. So that was the reason we celebrate December 25 today.

   The importance of Christmas to us is to remember the day our savior is born. It is our way to thank him and give him our respect. Christmas is the most colorful occasion that you will see there are tall Christmas trees, colorful lights, lanterns and many more. There are contest that will held, like the most beautiful and creative lantern and there are contest for Christmas trees too. It is how we expressed our thanks to everyone like giving a present and be kind to others too. That's the essence of Christmas.

   Well the importance of Christmas is a celebration Lord and savior Jesus Christ. In my opinion, true Christmas is giving your hearts to others or let your kindness become your Christmas. That's the essence of Christmas.

Pag-aaruga sa mga bata

Mahalaga ang pag-aaruga sa mga bata para magabayan ang kanilang paglaki at magabayan ng mabuti. Hanggang sa pagtanda nila dapat arugain pa rin natin sila. Dapat isulong natin ang tamang pag-aaruga para sa lahat ng bata.

                Ang mga bata ngayon ay kailangan nang alagaan ng mabuti, kung hindi mawawala sila sa tamang landas. Napakahalaga ang pag-aruga sa kanila dahil kailangan nila ito. Pati na rin ang magandang modelo na kailangan nilang gayahin sa paglaki. Pag-isusulong ang temang ito lahat na sana ay may magandang buhay ngayon at hindi yung napapabayaan na lang ang mga bata. Kung ganito sila, paano na ang kanilang kinabukasan kaya arugain sila ng tama para sa kabutihan nilang lahat.

                Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.mahalaga ang kinabukasan ang mga bata huwag balewalain ang mga batang ito kaya Isulong: Tamang pag-aarugas para sa lahat ngb bata.

ESP month theme

Mapanuring paggamit  gadyet: tungo sa mapagkalingang ugnayan sa pamilya at kapwa. Ito ang tema ng ESP month celebration. Ang gadyet ay mahalaga sa atin pag nawala ito wala tayong komunikasyon sa isa’t isa. At ang gadyetpa ang paraan ng pakikipag-ugnayan natin sa iba.

Reading is the key for a good future

The theme of this year’s English month celebration is “Pagbasa:Susi sa magandang kinabukasan”. Its saying that, reading book is good for your future. It will lead you to a better life.

Its true that reading will lead to a better life because in reading you will gain new knowledge and that knowledge will be the key to a good future. Though reading you will learn everything not only that you will be educated too. Reading will give you everything anything you want to have even a successful life.

Reading books is important in one’s life without reading you will not gain anything in life. Even reading is the only thing you would do you will become a great man someday. Because reading is the key for a good future.

Teachers Day

     September 5 to October 5 is the day of our beloved second mother, we called our teachers. They are the ones we see everyday,when we go to school. They always teach us something new. So in order to give thanks to them, we all celebrate the day we call teachers day.

     Teachers day is the most awaited day in a year. It is the day where students prepare a surprise for their teachers. Which they design their classrooms and they will call her because the two of her pupils started a fight or they will go to their department one by one then they will give her a cake or something just to thank her for everything. We students think that our teachers are tired right now because everyday they handle a lot of kids so that we do this every year.

     October 5 is the day we all do our best to thank them. We knew this wasn't enough to thank you but we always thank them even were naughty, the never get tired to teach us. So we all give thanks to you.

United Nations

     United Nations is an organization of countries who wishes to be in peace,"Coming Together with those furthest behind, build an inclusive world of universal rights and dignity this the theme of this year's UN.

     Countries who have been left behind and build a nation to restore a proper state and being worthy in this organization a world full of that. Countries will work together to do that and be a great organization, in doing they help those in need and seek peace. They will restore everything in proper and have the worthy to be a part of UN.

     It's like helping each other up is the purpose and be a nation with rights and dignity. That is the theme" Coming Together with those furthest behind, build an inclusive world of universal rights and dignity".

The Theme of Science Month

     The theme of the science month this year is "accentuating potentials activating technological Advancements". This theme has a meaning about kids with talent.

      It's like showing off the children with a potential in creating a high tech inventions or show off the ability of a person in activating a new and advance technology. In doing this we can build a better nation using this kind of technologies. In building a good future  for those children who will live in the near future.

      We can use this strategy in making our country have a great progress. We must be thankful to those individuals so accentuating potentials activating technological Advancements.

Filipinos on Disaster

During disasters we all have some survival skills to show and to do in case of emergency. Just like us Filipinos, we really have a lot of those.

In dealing with disasters we all have the ability to be strong and be successful again when something bad is going to happen. Just like if the disaster is gone, of course it caused a lot of damage to us but we help each other out and strive to be ok and like we didn’t have any of those happen to us. Is like nothing then we all do a teamwork and support them. We even donate each other some clothes and etc. until we all be so happy after the disaster, thinking this we will be alright we together to come back and solve the problem, until we be again so peaceful and living happily again.

 

Having this ability is so amazing we all think positive, be so strong to fight the problem were going to face and other we always use this without realizing but its good that we Filipinos have this ability called resiliency.

My First Quarter in ICT

     First quarter is the most exciting quarter of all because you will learn something new and you will feel so excited for it. Learning something is so amazing because you will know what is the history of something you think you know in your life like in ICT. I'm going to share what I have learned in the first quarter in my ICT subject.

     I learned so many things like the history of internet, you know I've been using the internet for so many years now but I didn't know the history of it. When I learned about it, the internet was present in the early 70's. There are so many individuals that work in creating the internet and it was so amazing. I learned about blogs and search engines too. In knowing all these I have faced some challenges like ImI not good at making essays, we have to do it in blogging. But later I got a hang on making an essay. These challenge is so hard but my friends help me in my problems.

     This quarter I have learned many things and now it's the end of this quarter. So that I'm getting curious in my next quarter in ICT maybe I will be amazed and excited in my next be lesson in the second quarter.
